"Defense of Freedom in the Alpine Passes" deals with the story of William Tell, and his two arrows when told to shoot an apple off his son's head in exchage for his freedom ("did you think you would miss?" "No, the second was to kill you if anything happened to my son") and the campaign which led to the Austrian defeat in the Battle of Morgarten, cementing the Swiss cantons into a country which remained independent. I suppose it is a fine story of a powerful nation coming a-cropper against a small one. As major significance in world history, though...
