Welcome to the Home of the Philosophical Leopard.  I hope you'll find something you enjoy here.  The stories and musings should really stand up for themselves, but if you want to know more about me...

My name is Robert Kibble, and I have lived most of my life in the UK, with a one-year stint in the US, in St Louis, Missouri, which I would heartily recommend.  I would not recommend my current location (Slough) at all, but them's the breaks.

If you're in any way involved in physics and recognise the name, yes I am Tom Kibble's son, but no I don't understand any more about the Higgs mechanism than you do.  I was born after he (with five others) came up with the idea back in 1964.

I've been writing off and on for two decades now, which is a long time.  I got really really close once (a rejection letter where the story had been "passed round the office and was borderline" but presumably someone more impressive came out of retirement and wrote a story that month).  I have not got that close since.

No, obviously I'm not a bitter and twisted alcoholic.

I'm sure you can find me on facebook if you try, or contact me via my seldom-used blog robertkibble.blogspot.com.
